Design Philosophy
From finito back to non finito
—people are always pursuing a closed, perfect, and absolute end, while the essence of creation is to actively dismantle this obsession and return to the true openness and flowing of things.
If adding elements is an act of creation, why can't erasure and removal be creation as well? Can subtraction, rather than addition, be the true core of an artwork? These two questions lie at the heart of my practice.My work seeks to break fixed forms, challenge rigid stereotypes, and return fluidity to what has become stagnant.
Through my studies on time and imagery that borders on blurring, I explore how we experience art as information gradually fades away.I integrate feathers into my work for their innate sense of movement—evoking birds suspended in flight. Light and responsive, feathers shift with the gentlest air currents, giving the artwork a sense of breath and vitality. By embracing this impermanence, I dispel the notion of a "completed" work; instead, the ongoing process itself becomes the artwork, raw and infused with primitive energy.
